During January, things are just starting back for the year. January has been a good month and a good start to 2026. A few updates on courses as ever over the winter, making slight improvements on all courses. A revamped website allowing for these new occasional news bites. During 2025, I’ve been able to add a few HSE courses to my repertoire, and those are available to undertake in person and online.
During January, I’ve delivered the following courses-
- Emergency First Aid at Work
- Forestry First Aid
- Outdoor First Aid
- Paediatric First Aid
It’s always interesting planning courses for the following year. When I planned the dates for courses in January back in June 2025, I had no idea what the weather would be like. I do cancel courses with weather warnings due to safety concerns. The weeks I had outdoor first aid courses were a bit chilly, but we avoided the really cold week, the week with snow, the week with the strong storms… not too shabby. Fingers crossed, the weather stays kind for the rest of the year. If we operate outdoors, I believe we should be comfortable in that environment.
During February, has a lot of courses lined up with availability –
- 2- Fire Safety Level 2 (online)
- 5 & 6- Outdoor First Aid 2-day course (2 spaces)
- 16- Health and Safety in the workplace Level 2 (online)
- 19- Manual Handling Level 2 (online)
- 20- First Aid for Mental Health/ Youth Mental Health (6 spaces)
- 26 & 27- Outdoor First Aid 2-day course (6 spaces)
