During March, I’ve had a good mixed month. March has included bespoke training for a school’s Duke of Edinburgh programme. Lots of Outdoor First Aid, safeguarding courses, and First Aid for Mental Health courses have been well attended throughout the month. I’m also on my first expedition of the year at the end of this month, which is great for getting out and doing things, rather than just delivering courses. I enjoy the courses, but I think it’s important to stay current and to actually be practical in what we do. Textbook approaches are great in a book, but as a provider, it’s important to practice what I teach.
During March, I’ve delivered the following-
- Bespoke First Aid training for Duke of Edinburgh students, Gold and Bronze levels.
- Emergency First Aid at Work
- Forestry First Aid
- Outdoor First Aid
- Paediatric First Aid
- First Aid at Work
- First Aid for Mental Health
- First Aid for Youth Mental Health
- Manual Handling
- Safeguarding
