This is a one-day workshop that builds on the knowledge and understanding from the two-day outdoor first aid course. This one-day workshop aims to equip learners with the skills to manage Life-Threatening Bleeding and prolonged casualty care. It will advise on the inherent dangers associated with the use of Tourniquets and Haemostatic Dressings whilst administering first aid in a high-risk environment to save lives. It has been developed to meet the requirements of industries that consider themselves to be at high risk following a suitable and sufficient risk assessment.
1 day covering this course content, along with more remote area supervision, trauma care and triage.
