All of these wellbeing courses are run and organised by Rhys Green a qualified teacher who has specialised knowledge and expertise in each activity area/ environment we offer courses.
These HSE courses are regulated through FAA limited and are Ofqual/ Qualifications Wales accredited, as such, there are set minimum hours and there is also a set minimum content. I take prior learning into account and change the focus of courses to suit your needs.
All courses have a set minimum duration for completion, and these would typically be consecutive days, i.e. 2 days each day with 8 hours (16 hours total). However, I can make changes and adjustments to suite you and your lifestyle, i.e. 4 days over 4 weeks with each session being 4 hours (16 hours total).
I prefer to operate up to 1:8 but can operate up to 1:12. As such each course can be book individually or as a group booking.
The equipment is regularly updated, keeping current and offering the best and most realistic experience for you. I also ensure there is sufficient equipment for you to have a hands-on approach to your course. By attending our courses, you will leave with resources and tools relevant for you in your chosen environment.
I can travel for courses but things tend to stay closer to SA19 as I know this environment well and choose the best space for you on a given day.
Again flexibility is key, and we want to work with you on your schedule.
While I value providing 1:1 equipment for courses along with a variety of resources for attendees to use allowing a course to be as realistic as possible, I also understand that most courses do not provide this.
There will now be budget versions of my course if making a full course booking- this budget version will have fewer items in a first aid kit to use on the course, fewer consumables, fewer manikins (4:1 opposed to 1:1), fewer AEDs (4:1), no full body manikins, no CPR masks for attendees, no notepads and no books etc. Please do let me know if your organisation would prefer a like this budget course where the guided standards are met opposed to the extras I deem appropriate and needed. This will still be a fully ofqual regulated course and certificated accordingly.
